This is a Tier 1 SES position serving as the expert senior advisor and assistant to the Director, Deputy Director and senior leaders on all aspects and management of a worldwide Information Technology (IT) systems in order to shape the organization, control its directions, serve the users and accomplish its mission. Responsibilities Provide expert advisory support to senior leaders on IT systems management to shape the organization, direct IT directions, serve users, and accomplish the mission. Requirements Work Schedule: Full Time Must be a U.S. citizen or National. Probationary Period: You will serve a one-year Senior Executive Service (SES) probationary period unless you previously completed the probationary period in the SES. Financial Disclosure: Senior Executives are required to comply with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act, PL 95-521, which requires the submission of a financial disclosure statement (OGE-278), upon assuming an SES position. Senior Executives are required to complete a "Declaration of Federal Employment," (OF 306), prior to being appointed to determine your suitability for Federal employment and to authorize a background check. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt Tour of Duty: May include irregular work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Subject to a 1-year supervisory probationary period (unless already completed). Drug testing not required. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position requires a DAWIA Information Technology, Level III acquisition professional certification. Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position.
