General Manager – Pana, IL

Qik n’ EZ is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager (GM) to lead one of our convenience store locations.

As the GM, you’ll oversee daily operations, coach and develop your team, and drive profitability while ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience. Training may be required in Springfield, IL, so candidates must be open to occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Recruit, train, and manage a customer-focused team.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns.
• Oversee labor, inventory, expenses, and daily operations.
• Analyze store trends, financial data, and audit results to maximize sales and control losses.
• Implement marketing and inventory strategies to grow profitability.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store environment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and state/federal laws.

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience in retail, food service, or fuel.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for customer service and team success.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 10 hours.
• Open availability, flexibility, and reliability.
• A personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record.
• Must pass background and drug screening, including THC.
• Completion of Food Protection Manager Certification within 30 days of hire.

Job Type: Full-time - 50 hours per week

Salary: $60,000 per year

Bonus Potential: $500 monthly 

Location: Pana, IL (training may take place in Springfield, IL)
