Logistics Program Manager

Statement of Work (SOW)

BACKGROUND: Federal facilities require dedicated logistics oversight to ensure the effective planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain, transportation, warehousing, and asset management activities. A Logistics Program Manager (LPM) is needed to lead these operations, provide program-level management, and ensure compliance with federal policies, industry standards, and mission requirements.

Place of Performance:

  • Brunswick, GA Facility – as designated by the Government,

Period of Performance: 12-month base period

Schedule: The work schedule for all personnel under this contract is TBD (To Be Determined). The Government will establish and communicate the specific hours, shifts, and days of performance prior to commencement of services.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of logistics and program management experience .
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing supply chain, asset management, transportation, and warehousing operations.
  • Experience working within federal, military, or large-scale organizational environments preferred.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional certifications in logistics/supply chain management are a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics information systems, inventory tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of federal compliance requirements, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Program Oversight

  • Lead and manage logistics operations for the federal facility.
  • Supervise logistics staff, subcontractors, and support personnel.
  • Ensure effective use of government-furnished resources.

Supply Chain & Asset Management

  • Oversee receipt, storage, distribution, and accountability of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory systems to ensure 98% or higher accuracy.
  • Implement processes for asset visibility and lifecycle management.

Transportation & Warehousing

  • Coordinate movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Manage transportation schedules, fleet support, and shipping/receiving functions.
  • Oversee warehousing operations to ensure compliance with safety and storage standards.

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and implement logistics support plans aligned with operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with government representatives, contractors, and facility managers.
  • Ensure logistics functions are integrated with overall mission planning.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to federal policies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on logistics activities.
  • Support audits, inspections, and program reviews.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Track performance metrics, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain zero-failure support for mission readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government representatives for logistics matters.
  • Provide regular briefings on program status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Build strong relationships with federal personnel and external partners.
