Palliative Care - Physician at Atrium Health summary:

A Pediatric Palliative Care Physician providing multidisciplinary care for pediatric and adult patients at a leading community-focused academic healthcare system. Responsibilities include outpatient palliative care, inpatient consultation, quality improvement participation, clinical program development, and education of medical students and residents. The role requires board certification in Pediatric Palliative Care and a commitment to clinical excellence, education, research, and professionalism within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Advocate Health Levine Children’s is seeking a full-time MD/DO to join their well-established and growing team. The Pediatric Palliative Care Division is currently a group of 2 physicians, 1 APPs, 2 Social Workers, 1 Nurse Coordinator, and a Bereavement Coordinator. Multidisciplinary care is provided for pediatric and adult patients.

1. Outpatient palliative care, shared call, and inpatient consultation service.
2. Participation in division-specific quality improvement plan.
3. Clinical programmatic development.
4. Participation in hospital, Department of Pediatrics, and system committees.
5. Faculty development (leadership, clinical, academic).
6. Education – medical students, pediatric residents, and faculty.
