Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy.
• Consult and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to support the child's treatment and development.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to a holistic approach to patient care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey. Pennsylvaniahiladelphia and New York licenses are a plus.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and behavioral health disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with young patients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
