Breezy Hill Nursery, Inc. specializes in residential landscaping and design, transforming backyards into personal paradises with features such as outdoor kitchens, pergolas, paver patios, and fire pits. Our 800+ acre facility grow all plant materials, allowing us to offer substantial savings on large shade trees, evergreens, shrubs, and ornamental trees. We provide comprehensive services including design, landscape construction, water features, irrigation, decorative carpentry, and full property maintenance. Additionally, we operate two garden centers open to the public.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Specialist located in Salem, WI. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll deductions, administering garnishments, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Day-to-day tasks include handling payroll administration and services, maintaining accurate payroll records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services
• Knowledge of union wages, prevailing wages & certified payroll
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and Garnishments
• Skilled in Payroll Processing
• Daily analyzation of time entries & jobs along with updating entries into the B2E

automated payroll system

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Understanding of payroll software and systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
