Contract role

Location: Albany - Hybrid: Candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings at the client site as required. Remote work is permitted when onsite presence is not necessary.

Le ngth: 6 Months (Currently until 2/28/2026)

Overview:

Client is seeking an experienced Technical Solution Architect to join the team in identifying and implementing a suitable technical solution for their internal project.

• This role involves reviewing the business requirements already gathered by the client and providing technical solution advisory to make sure the client is making the right technical choices.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on appropriate technical solutions that meet business needs, leveraging expertise in distribution systems.
• Design high-level technical architecture for cloud-based and SaaS solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in selecting and integrating distribution platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or similar.
• Create contextual architecture diagrams and documentation for proposed solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
• Attend onsite meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of related experience
• Proven experience in designing and implementing distribution systems, particularly on platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Strong technical architecture expertise in cloud-based and SaaS solutions.
• Experience in system integration, including integration design and execution.
• At least Bachelor's degree (An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered)
• Skilled in creating contextual diagrams and technical documentation for cloud and SaaS environments.
• TOGAF certification or equivalent in enterprise/solution architecture.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical architecture skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid onsite/remote setting.
• Candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings at the client site as required.
• Remote work is permitted when onsite presence is not necessary.
