Role Summary

Join our specialized mental health practice as we expand to meet growing community demand for neurodivergent-affirming care. You'll provide individualized therapy to children, adults, and families while developing expertise in ADHD and neurodiversity treatment under mentorship from practice owner Lauren Dibble, LMFT. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Service Delivery:

  • Provide individual, family, and couples therapy to neurodivergent clients of all ages
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions for ADHD, anxiety, and related conditions
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations

Professional Development & Collaboration:

  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and supervision (individual and group formats)
  • Complete specialized ADHD continuing education program (30 hours provided)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and community providers
  • Engage in ongoing mentorship to develop neurodiversity specialization

Practice Contribution:

  • Support practice growth through quality clinical care and client retention
  • Participate in community outreach and educational workshops as opportunities arise
  • Potentially contribute to administrative tasks or marketing initiatives based on interest
  • Mentor junior staff or provide clinical supervision as qualifications allow
Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field
  • Current registration or licensure in California (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)

Clinical Skills:

  • Experience providing therapy services to diverse populations
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health treatment
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws (HIPAA compliance)

Professional Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Comprehensive understanding of how systemic oppression, privilege, and socio-economic, racial, and disability disparities impact client experiences
  • Commitment to addressing inequities in clinical practice
