Job Details

• Rapid response position at Los Alamos Medical Center, a 47-bed acute care facility with 300 healthcare employees.
• Role: Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery specialty.
• Must be available to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
• Travelers must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel.
• Position includes 36 weekly guaranteed hours, weekend hours every other/as needed, and call requirements as needed.

Job Requirements

• Must have required certifications at submission; certifications are not available on site.
• Must have certification/licensure required to work as a Labor & Delivery nurse in New Mexico.
• Previous Labor & Delivery/Post Partum experience required.
• Must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that check is being processed (New Mexico state requirement).
• Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on fingerprint results but must be supervised.

Schedule Information

• Shift details as per position; includes weekend hours every other week or as needed.
• Call requirements as needed.
• Orientation weekly on Mondays.

• Patient population: Child bearing aged women and newborns.
• Personality fit: Patient experience focused, team work oriented, eager to learn.
• Dress code: No specific scrub color; no casual wear allowed.
