As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Part Time in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a busy retail distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to promote a sense of security, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual circumstances or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in upholding security-related standards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
