Travel Pharmacist – Naples, FL
Assignment Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Overnights, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (30-minute lunch), 40 hrs/week
Requirements:
Active Florida Pharmacist license
BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy
1–2 years hospital staff pharmacist experience required
Experience with Cerner EMR
Working knowledge of ADM, pharmacy software, Clinical Pharmacology, Micromedex
Must be willing to float between campuses as needed
AHCA Fingerprinting required for all CHS FL travel placements
Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees, and designated hospital areas. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians on drugs and dosing, providing education to staff and patients, supporting medication safety initiatives, maintaining patient profiles, monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions, mixing IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and ensuring narcotic accountability. All practice must comply with federal/state/DEA regulations, The Joint Commission standards, and hospital/department policies.Contact:
